What to paint today.

There are so many images in my mind wanting to be released onto paper or canvas that I have a hard time deciding which one to choose.  It seems the wildlife calls out to me on a continual basis and it is now that I am being asked to paint more of it.  This has not always been the case in my thirty-three year career, and it is wonderful to see.  We indeed are all connected and we must respect and treat all animals with respect and dignity.

Working from a place of passion.

As I move back into my painting routine I realize how much I have missed time in front of the easel and the freedom creating an image brings to my soul.  There is nothing else like it in the world, for me.

A new “lightness” seems to be taking over

I don’t know if you have noticed or not but there has seemed to be a shift in the light for the past three or four weeks.  It seems to be brighter and shining for longer periods.  Perhaps this is part of the new consciousness many are coming into, but it feels more real than ever before, and to many more than ever before.

I am a firm believer that 2012 will be a culmination of this shift of consciousness that is currently taking place and which has been taking place for quite some time.  If indeed our thoughts are our reality, and  if our thoughts are positive and limitless, we truly can help to bring in this special time with a whole new way of living, thinking and communicating.

Too much gloom and doom has been cast upon our society, and by the likes of those who were supposed to be our “leaders”.   What a wonderful day it is to have at our countries helm someone who truly cares about the people.  Not money, but people.  How refreshing and sweet to have our new health care bill signed and in place.  Why would anyone want to deny another services necessary and reflective of a humane society.  I am finally proud of my citizenship and long to travel back to Europe to visit, and not to live!

For those of you who are not familiar with dowsing, it is moving energy for the most beneficial results for everything that you think and do.   Dowsing can change your life for the better.  It is based on the theory that your thoughts are powerful and can create an enormous impact on your life, so they need to be positive.  This is not as easy as it seems for many reasons.  I am a dowser because not only can I change energy to be beneficial for whatever purpose or for whomever, I can also change the energy which has made you think the way you do.  I also communicate with spirits who are here to help you.   Sometimes they are people in your life who have passed on and sometimes they are your guides, angels or simply spirits from the other side who just want to see you be happy.  Life is meant to be joyful and we have been taught otherwise.   It is time to change that.

Time for Reflection

During all of these cold, windy, snowy days it is a good time for reflection of what you need to put into place for tomorrow.  Meditation is a wonderful way to clear your thoughts and receive messages and ideas for putting priority on tasks ahead.  It is amazing how meditation not only gives the perfect excuse for doing absolutely “nothing”, but in doing nothing you are making space to receive the messages you need for whatever direction you need for living.

It is important not to expect quick answers during actual meditation, but to look for the magic around you afterwards, during mundane activities, while showering, or even during conversation with someone.  When the answers come you will recognize them immediately and that is one of the best surprises possible!

Keeping Faith

During this time of year it is more important than ever to focus on the things that make us happy, feel loved and safe. Keep the faith that everything you ever wanted will be provided for you and never forget that there will ALWAYS be those much less fortunate and that is where you should turn your attention. Positive Outlook for Art Sales

For all of you artists out there who rely on your craft to live just remember that you must remain positive and believe that you are doing what you are supposed to do and that the universe will support you with abundance and fulfillment.  As Joseph Campbell said, “follow your bliss and a thousand helping hands will appear.”
